FACE OFF

NOTES:

In 2018, we wanted to bring awareness to Wendy’s cause brand by unbranding.

We removed the Wendy’s logo from cups nationwide to highlight the fact that if Dave Thomas was never adopted, he may never have founded Wendy’s. The cups came with a SnapCode that donated $5 to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption with every use.

SNAPCHAT:

The back of the cups came with a snapcode that lead to a filter to turn your own face into the iconic Wendy’s logo. Every use of the Snap Code generated a $5 donation to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. We also made a lil’ stop motion snap ad to promote the filter.

 
 
 

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT:

Customers circulated the faceless cups on reddit and twitter, even encouraging others to use the filter.
